Only a Girl

A few months ago, I read Only a Girl, a novel written by a new aspiring author. Despite having read several novels since, I still find myself reminiscing about the wonderfully rich characters in this novel. They are real to me; they are friends. I have recommended the novel to many others, but decided that since so many people are now reading my blog, I should introduce it to my public as well. Seriously though, it is a remarkable novel, and is worth the read. It is available through Amazon.

  1. Tell us more! What is it about and what type of person might enjoy this novel? Is it appropriate for say a middle or high school aged child? Or how about a sports and technology loving male?

  3. Greg, To answer your specific questions, Lian writes:
At the last CATE conference I was told that Only A Girl is appropriate reading material for grades 10 and up.

If the sports and technology loving male also has an interest in world history and has women in his life, he'd most likely will enjoy Only A Girl. I have 3 positive male reviews on Amazon :-))
