We all have stories where a spouse or friend has done something for which we want to fall down laughing, but understand that it is definitely not the correct time or place to do so.
Well my story involves a spouse, a rock, and a skunk… and the little known fact that skunks can accurately spray over twenty feet.
It was late at night, the skunk was in our backyard, and the dogs were, once again, barking at it. Anger overrode common sense.
A good recipe for ridding yourself or someone you love of skunk-scent is:
1pint hydrogen peroxide, 1/8 cup baking soda, and a squirt of detergent.

Was this skunk in your backyard? They are cute...from a distance and very offensive! I guess the only lovable skunk is Pepe LePew.
ReplyDeleteThis skunk was not so far away. It was at my doorstep on my back porch- inches away from where misty, annie and sometimes sadie sleep.
ReplyDeleteActually I remember it being a broom, more of a javelin throw. Also I think one of the dogs got it that night too, the house stunk for a week.
