  2. Hi Mrs. Sanderson,

Mark introduced me to your blog, letting me know about it because he was proud of how you took the knowledge from your tech class and transformed it into this blog. The title of this entry caught my eye as Mark has developed into one of my closest friends over the last 2 years, and I must say that he is not only a very talented young man, but a loyal and caring friend as well. I want to thank you raising Mark to be what he is today, because if you hadn't, my life would incredibly different. With that, I wanted to also apologize for what I posted on Mark's facebook a while ago. I made a very "19 year old" mistake and let my immaturity get the better of me, hurting not only myself, but mark and you as well. So once again, I want to apologize, but also to say that this blog is a job well done.

  3. Wow, Caleb, thank you.
It was also a lesson for me on the new techy pranks that are played on the unsuspecting. Paul explained to me about how others will write inappropriate comments on someone's facebook title page when they leave their computer unattended. I didn't know. Being a teacher, and a mother, among other things, I take very seriously such comments found on Mark's facebook page.
Thank you for your kind remarks. Mothers love to hear that sort of thing, as we always worry that our mistakes in raising kids have outweighed our successes, and when our kids are all grown up, it seems immutable.
Mark is very pleased to count you as a friend, and I now see why.
    take care, Janet

  4. The pictures go to prove what I've long suspected- there are way too many turkeys in the world!

  5. I have plenty of turkeys that like to roam around Lafayette where my wife and I live. The scariest thing I saw with turkeys was when there were a few in a tree next to our duplex and all I could hear was gobbling from above as I went inside.
